More Corsa

A few weeks back someone was asking about Corsa Exhausts. I told my story about my great experience at Corsa meeting the Brownings, and getting to drive their Silverado with one of their exhausts, and also the cool ride in Jim Browning Sr's Corvette. I happen to live about 15 minutes from their beautiful facility.

I just today got my Corsa installed at their shop. Mine is not a SS, but the look is the same. It is everything they claim, with minimal resonance in the cab, but outside you know it's there. Sound is a subjective thing, but we love the sound. If it means anything, a couple of the local kids who are into cars stopped by to listen and also think it sounds great. I went with the side exhaust, as in the end we thought that was the best look. It's also hard to beat the tips! Quality stuff ! So if any of you SS guys are looking, they are sure worthy of your consideration.

I linked some pics on my sight if interested. The last 3 are bigger files, which might be slow to open with a slower connection.

Matt,

I know they have the dual rear bumper exit on the 5.3L Silverados, don't know for sure on the SS. I looked at a lot of trucks with dual rear bumper exit, and decided in this case the side exit looks a little cleaner I thought. Duals behind the rear axle, with the exact tips I have in the picture, would be cool, but would get expensive.

The dual outlet system that exits under the rear bumper is really nice but they currently don't offer it for the SS. The SS version has dual 4"Pro Series that exit in the stock location. There are two systems available - Sport and Touring. The Sport system has a more aggressive sound but isn't to loud for a daily driver.

tbyrne,

Do you offer any discounts for fellow SilveradoSS.com ers? I am very interested in getting the Sport version of the Corsa exhaust system.

Let me know if you are aware of any deals that might be forthcoming.

Thanks,

He has a thread just on this subject, doesn't he? I thought he did.

TByrne,

What would the shipping cost be to MI? I have found a couple of sites selling the system for $699.99 with free shipping. I guess I am just trying to find the best deal possible.

Also, while I have your attention, what is the part number of the Predator programmer that I would need for my '03 SS?

Thanks Tom,
