SS_bnoon_SS
Are there any hardware changes needed to run our trucks on a speed density tune vs MAF? Or is it all in the tuning? I may be looking at an intake manifold change sometime and it sure would be easier without a MAF...
.justin.
As long as you're not running forced induction, it's all in the tune.
Bowtie70SS
You just need the software to do it. Why are you gonna do it if you don't mind me asking??? If you are FI you'll need a 2 or 3 bar MAP depending on boost levels. Dave

Dave <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No FI, just NA... with a big cam and Edlebrock intake, along with reworked 5.3 heads, headers/etc. I didn't have the time to get them done this summer, but I've got almost everything purchased to do a car intake along with those mods... then I cam up with an idea to do the Edlebrock intake a different way than others have been doing it, and need a SD tune to pull it off. It involves a 6" tall "carb style" air filter and custom base for it... I'll be mocking it up on the bench in a couple of months after I have the money for the intake.
