saytagf Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I wanna have colored lighting inside my truck(the captain lights and dome light)....Is that a colored bulb i buy or a tinted lens??? Any help appreciated. -Thanks
montanass Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I think you'll just need "colored" bulbs. Look around on some rice sites and you could find them....
BadYellowCorvette Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 You can get all different colored LED's which are alot brighter that color or tinted halogen bulbs. If you get the colored bulbs the color will burn off the bulbs in no time. I just put some Super white LED bulbs in my interior of my C5 and it's REALLY bright! Hope this helps. Derek
TopSpeedExtreme Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 The type are the small wedge bulbs i think its coded as a 194 or a 193 but yeah I agree the LED's look alot better and give it a cleaner look. Ebay sells them by the dozen.
drako Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 ive gotten 2 pairs....the best one ive recieved is from this seller fro mhong kong that says his is the brightest...ill try and get a link after i get bacl home

HedSwim Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 What are the advantages of LED and Cold Cathode one over the other?
Radioshop Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 What are the advantages of LED and Cold Cathode one over the other? LED's draw less amperage, don't get as hot and, last longer. They are typically brighter.
