Kirk Posted November 1, 2003 Report Share Posted November 1, 2003 Just found out about this...bought an SS this summer, love the truck but can't get anyone to listen about my warped cladding. All 4 door cladding looks warped in the areas just above where the screws mount from under the doors. Has anyone else had this problem, I can't get the dealer to do anything about it. I have seen others with the same problem, think maybe the cladding should be a little thicker. Even temperature changes make it better and worse. I removed the screws and fender washers from the bottom in hopes that it will take the stress out and the panels will form back to their origonal shape. Oh Well! Thanks for replying. I figured it was common because the way the kits were mounted. Anyone else bath their trucks??? I used to wash my vehicles but after i got the SS it gets bathed.
