Got A SS
I hear a lot about getting rid of the torque MGMT on our trucks. How is this accomplished and is it worth it? I am planning on ordering a Volante (SP?) intake this week anyone advise against it?
rico750sxi
Different programmers and Custom programmed ECM's can greatly reduce the TM. A few names of programmers are Superchips, Street Performance Electronics, and Diablo Predator. Westers is a popular option as far as custom ECM's are concerned. redsilveradoSS
Rico tell me a little about your superchips. I am thinking of ordering me one. How long did it take to get it shipped and to run the program once you got it. Did you tell a difference?
rico750sxi
Check out this post, I wrote a report of my install and some testing. It takes about 10 minutes to download your stock program and upload the custom tune. There are options for shifting and rev limiter and such. It's explained a bit better in the other post. I was hoping for a little firmer shifting from it, I've been told to increase the shift pressure to max and it will help. I'm happy with my results so far and I'll let you know how increasing the shift pressure works out, I haven't done it yet. Superchips
