kissfans03ss Posted January 20, 2007 Report Share Posted January 20, 2007 Ron,glad the little woman is o.k. screw everything else shes what matters,as a matter of fact a co-worker just got rearended in his toyota matrix,he was sitting in traffic on the highway just past the on ramp when he looks in his mirror and shes a car flying toward him,sensing that the car is not going to stop he starts pulling to the side of the road when bam!! she clips the back corner of his car putting him into a spin and eventually sliding down a grassy embankment before the car tipped on its side,luckily he is o.k. but his car externally(spoilers,ground effects etc.)had 13k worth of damage thats before lifting the hood or setting the car on a rack.the car is only worth 14k so its totaled,long stort his lease car company and insurance company are starting to break his balls.Hope all goes good for you. Yeah it sucked, especially cause I thought it was just another dropped call. The SS really got a work out that night trying to get to the scene. KJT13 Posted January 21, 2007 Report Share Posted January 21, 2007 Glad she is ok .... You don't have to get your attorney involved just yet. Contact your Insurance company. Even though it's a Lease, you pay some Big Money every year to the Insurance Co. Let them fight it out. It's not your fault, and the since the other party was cited, your good all day long. Your Insurance company should give you a rental for as long as it takes. Then they will go after the other parties insurance company for payment. Glad to hear everyone is ok!!
