Fireman31
a little off topic here but, how much does it cost to get dynoed? i might get one done in the future. It cost me $75 for three pulls, and he charged me an extra $40 for setup........he dynoes mainly Mustangs, not trucks, so it took him over 45 minutes to get it strapped in correctly. haulin79
Just a FYI, loading typically gives higher HP and TQ results, this is because with higher loading, there are less inertial effects. This is why the factory measures HP and TQ at static rpm points, to get the absolute highest loading at a particular RPM to eliminate inertial effects. For a set dyno load, inertial effects also explain why higher gears give higher HP and TQ results than lower gears. On the other hand, conditions were perfect.....a nice clear cool 60 degree morning.
