zippy
deffinitly do not use a shift firmness program along with the shift kit. as for the tcc, it's a possibility, unless the condition is happening in all gear changes. tcc shouldn't be in anywhere near the 1-2 shift. The 1-2 is where I feel it the most. I feel it through all gears. I'll be doing some driving tonight and I'll pay carefull attention and try to give specific results. SilveradoSS04
Ok, it seems to not be so bad once it's warmed up. Maybe it's from the fluids being too cold? It still shifts real slow and hesitantly, but the tuning should fix that. Thanks again for all your guys's help.
trickmob
I think its from the cold.My SS ran great with and with out a custom tune from DIABLO SPORT until the cold came.
SilveradoSS04
I agree, now that it's warmer, it doesn't do it.
jeffnjill
Don't the SS's have a trans. temperature delay like the 2000 Silverado had? I know my truck doesn't shift at the right points until the truck has warmed up a little. Doesn't take long for it to warm up, and then it shifts normal. Until then, it seems to hang in 1st gear for a few extra seconds. This is normal.
