67camaro02 Posted July 22, 2007 Report Share Posted July 22, 2007 I'm driving down the road....the stereo and lights go off and back on real quick (almost like a power surge or brown out) and now my f'ing HU will not eject the CD that is in it. Nor will it play it. It's a PITA for me to go to the dealership so I thought I'd see if there was any kind of easy fix. WTF happened? silverss05 Posted July 24, 2007 Report Share Posted July 24, 2007 Is your head unit the stock unit? Before i've had some problems with cd's not being ejected and i could see the cd in the head unit. I would use another cd to kind push up on the bottom of the stuck cd and it would then eject. Dunoo if that would help you or not. Good luck with that. SilveradoEsEs Posted July 26, 2007 Report Share Posted July 26, 2007 If the disc symbol on the digital readout is blinking, you can remove the deck from the dash and unplug/reconnect the harness on the rear and that will reset the deck.
