Chase, I've seen your thread about smoking them yourself, how much did it cost for the process. Also, how much would you charge to smoke them? 04CHASE Posted October 24, 2007 Report Share Posted October 24, 2007 basically the same thing, it cost me a good amount for materials . i charge 100 for the tails and 30 for the third, includes shipping. i just happened to have a pair of smoked tails right now. i usually have 3 or 4 sets they have just been sold so i need more lights. these prices are with you returning the stock cores to me in good condition. otherwise its an extra 100 for you to keep the tails. misterp Posted October 24, 2007 Report Share Posted October 24, 2007 You can DIY with 2 cans of VHT Nightshades and then cover with high-quality clear coat, total cost might be a weekend and $40 for all materials; the outcome will be ok, I got orange peel on mine but from a distance looked really good for about a year and a half but then the color started to "purple" I assume aging from sunlight. If you want magazine feature-car quality tailights get in touch with sprayed99, his are fantastic and he only charges enough to cover the cost of the PPG materials, sandpaper, etc. Mr. P.
