AUTOGUY Posted January 17, 2004 Report Share Posted January 17, 2004 Who Striped their truck with Chevelle "SS" Style Stripes? And were they painted on or vinyl. I am thinking about striping my truck, but if I don't like it I don't want to be stuck with the Stripes. I have a sign shop who makes graphics for me that can do them in vinyl, That way if I don't like them I can remove them without any damage. The problem with this is that they want to run more than one set to lower the cost per set. The layout and "artwork" time would kill me on one set. Is anyone interested in maybe doing a bulk purchase of Hood Stripes, and also can anyone do a layout in photoshop so we can digitize it into the computer? I like the Size/Style on the Cowl Induction Hood that is on the Red/Orange truck. http://www.keystonerestyling.com/ghg114_2.htm Also, what about stripes on the tailgate? They'd need to be custom to work with the truck, but I think they're a good starting point in matching the lines of the factory hood. http://www.camarographics.com/35th.htm I'd like something in silver/aluminum color. Either keep the front air ducts painted silver and just do the hood, or paint them black and extend the stripes down the front of the truck. I'd really have to think about that...
