CoolBlueSS
That sucks, but at least it's an easy fix.
kelleyperformance
been thru 7 of those, good luck buddy. the napa version is much stronger, and the only way to prevent that is make sure your belt is pretty tight, a tad tighter than youd normally want, and also dont ever go into heavy throttle and suddenly release it..... that will snap the belt even if the tensioner holds. welcome to the world of high hp lol

Welcome to the club,...your not a virgin anymore! I carry a spare, wrench and a used belt under the back seat. Went a year and a half without snapping one and then 2 in one weekend and one after a burnout at the track. FYI, there is a warrenty on the Dayco part at "Parts America", should have seen the guys face when I brought it back twice within 3 hours. "Must be a casting issue at Dayco." As KP stated, flooring it and then lifting and flooring it again is certain death for me as well.

BlackySS13
I'm running the billet Katech version. It's pretty f-ing sweet. A lil salty though at 135.

KJT13
anytime an SS has to get taken away by the hook or a rollback is a sad time. glad to hear its a simple fix!! from the sounds of it, you might want to take Kevin's suggestion and get a spare!
