Lefty Posted December 29, 2007 Report Share Posted December 29, 2007 It is absolutley the alarm/auto starter. I had the same problem in my Sierra (pre-SS). The guys that did the auto start did a poor job on the wiring which eventually shorted out the alarm "brain." The alarm "brain" had to be swapped out as well as the wiring harness from the data bus to the key-in ignition. Good luck getting the shop to fix it and I hope all goes well.
