Kept the tics and showed them to a local radio station at the concert in 98 and we got backstage and got pictures and all the members signed his tickets) Marshall Tucker Rascall Flats Tim Mcgraw Santana Steve Miller (3x) Styx Tom Petty Willie Nelson Yes, I have been to a TON of concerts considering I am only 20 yrs old however, about half of these were held at an outdoor arena by my house so we just bring chairs and sit out by the shops which are in front of the stage. Seen alot of great bands (original or not) because thats the music I grew up on and love it , none of that rap shit. I would still love to see : Led Zeppelin, Metallica, The Who, Van Halen, Eric Clapton, 38 special, BTO, Seger, Confederate Railroad and the list goes on Edited February 5, 2008 by SSSmoke Eater (see edit history)
steelin3rd
Hard to compete with that list....but here goes mine, i know i will forget some. newest to oldest...kinda. Citizen Cope (awesome newer stuff) Motley Crue 2 Live Crew (at a local club, w/o Luke...but they were just about f***ing on stage) Old Crow Medicine Show (in a field in Houston County) Slaughter ( at a Harley meet, Dogwood Lake, KY, best song they played was a Stranglehold cover.) Jackal (fun hellraising band) Everclear( shouting match with band and kicked out) Metallica Lynyrd Skynryd sp? w/ Bad Company Quiet Riot (at local club, sucked) Motley Crue Metal Church Megadeth Stone Temple Pilots (right after release of 1st hit, ended up being great band, but live show sucked at this point.) Metallica Guns N Roses w/ Aerosmith Warrant w/ Bon Jovi Europe w/ Def Leopard (7th grade) I know I am leaving out some. And I also know some of these bands are gay. Nonetheless, these are the ones i remember. I just don't enjoy concerts anymore for the most part. So I don't go much. Metal concerts are usually still good. Or small venues are usually fun. Hankg42
God, I'm so effin old. But here goes: Roger McGuinn (solo once, and with backup groups twice) He was a founding member of the Byrds. ELO (twice) Linda Ronstadt Manhattan Transfer (I like some jazz and "big band" stuff) Perry Como (Yikes!) Kansas Monkees (without Mike Nesmith. Took our daughter in 2004, I think) REM Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers I'm sure I'm forgetting some. Alzheimer's, you know? Edit: adding more as I remember them, or as other posts remind me!
