bdaly
Ultimate Performance in Dulles Virginia will have a AWD Dynojet Research System installed by the end of the month - Hopefully! I was lucky enough to whore my services as a Contractor to layout the pits, cut their existing concrete floor, frame and poor concrete and help get the two sections installed and run AC power, etc. So in return I wll be able to invite some friends and make some runs braking it in. Since all of you are my close friends I think we will have to set something up for the middle of March. Anyway I will post the construction progress (and yes the Dynojet will accept a 143" wheel base). Brian

bdaly
I will continue to update progress, and yes the short wheel base of a AWD Porsche has been sacrificed to make room for the 142.4" needed for the AWD SS. Excavation this week and concrete Monday the 23rd. More photos soon.

Check the specs page all the way at the bottom under extended cab. Silverado SS
m396 #00-011
Thats only an inch, if it's an AWD dyno, with two drums, it could still work, possibly.

bdaly
Sorry I misspoke or mistyped, 142.4 is the spacing required between the drums, centerline to centerline to fit an SS with a wheelbase of 143.5. The full out capabilities of this dyo will be closer to 150 wheelbase.
