zippy
that berger truck only went 14.6 when i seen it run, not bad, but not that impressive. with the trap times from the gibbs truck, i'd say 13's wouldn't be a challenge with a good driver, shifter, and tires. zippy
finally got to read a bit of that article. can you believe they sent them a test truck with an open diff?
redsilveradoSS
I read that article the other day. Lets see, i paid 23,500 with trade for my SS and only slightly modded it so far, have AWD and ext cab and running 14.8's already. I think i will stick with my SS. Nice looking truck but the SS looks far better.

Deebo
The more I drive my SS, the more I come to the realization that I stole it! Deebo
slickpitt
Local dealership here has a video thing running on the showroom with the Joe Gibs line of trucks. They look pretty cool.... rear wheel drive and all. They had video of them roasting the tires etc. Salesman said that only like 48(?) or 28(?) or so dealerships get to sell them, we was prolly full of it though. Deebo
One of the few times a salesman wasn't "full of it." I think there's only 25 dealerships carrying the line. Deebo
Dylan06SS
eh. call me crazy but I think we all got the "Street Smart" vehicle compared to those disappointments.
