BOB47
Slowest car I've ever owned was my first car. 1971 Mercury Comet with a 200 c.i. straight 6. I could just about outrun the thing on foot. Had to brake with your left foot 'cause if you took your right foot off the gas it would stall. If it stalled, more often than not I'd have to use a screwdriver to jump across the starter solenoid to get it started again. Could not drive in the rain because the wheel wells were so rusted that it threw water and mud inside the car! But hey, it was free!

blackhawk
While stationed in Sasebo Japan, we drove around in some type of mini van there, with a 3-speed column shift. With ten people packed in like clowns, people on bikes would beat us through the stoplights…now that is slow…

AUTOGUY
Not sure which was slower my Dad's '76 Datsun B210 Hatchback...Shifted it when it stopped revving higher...or his '74 AMC Hornet Wagon. (With woodgrain sides) Although it did have a fold down rear seat....

SSMANIAC
Back in the 80's when I was in High School in PR, I bought a 1981 Suzuki 4x4 jeep with a 800cc engine this thing wasn't even legal in the states. That baby went faster in neutral than in gear. Top out @ 55mph on flat ground. ONE GOOD THING WAS MPG could go on $5.00 of gas for weeks.
