Hmm, I guess I fell for the bait; hook line and sinker.

 

The way I see it, Mod Usabodyguard throws out a post with a little humor in it, Quote: “talk about ghost in the machine... anyone have a clue or better yet a priest to exorcize my damn alarm?” and I as well as Bonj87 come back with what we also thought as a little “humor” but along comes Mod Holty and reels us in. Sounds like a “little entrapment committed by a couple of mods to me.” So be it.

Can't help with your remote problem... however, for a problem like Chase's... just remote unlock and then relock the doors, should turn the radio off.

 

 

this wont work. the pcm has to see a door open to shut the radio off. i know the dome light might turn on when disarmed,but this doesnt shut the radio off. it will stay on for 11 mins after the car is started and then shut off with the remote.

I have a friend with a remote start Hornet system (DEI) and his truck would start at at 9:30 every day at his job while he was working......finally went through the manual and figured out that there was an timer setup that must have been accidentally programmed while the keys were in his pocket.

It works on my '99 RS Camaro, and works on my SS. So, it does work.
