I may not own the Falcon, but I am the guy that flys and maintains it. I think of her as mine. She gets better care that way! Stop by Napa, CA this weekend. We will be there. If you multiply your 1/8 mile time by 1.56 you will get very close to a real 1/4 mile time, this math doen't work for traction impaired or turbo cars however. After you KICK MY BUTT, let's trade planes, just to make sure the race is "even" You lucky person you. They would not let me in to fly because I have 20/25 vision corrected to 20/15 Right now, the Falcon is the best I have. It is nice to go in and out of 3200 ft runways at 1000 ft above sealevel on a 25 deg C day, at 30,000 lb and know that if I loose an engine, I will still climb at over 5% how is the short field performance of the Raptor? My first run in my 03 SS r/t 1.208 i know it was mt first run 60' 2.278 330 6.409 1/8 9.857 mph 71.72 1000 12.865 1/4 15.468 86.15 Notes i ran against a duster and he ran 66mph. He had problems!!! second run r/t .823 60' 2.256 330 6.382 1/8 9.817 mph 72.22 1000 12.794 1/4 15.366 mph 87.24 ran a dodge indy ss truck. beat up on him real bad. Almost a 1 1/2 second better time he was 82.22 i believe my third run with one passenger r/t 1.016 60' 2.270 330 6.413 1/8 9.864 mph 71.86 1000 12.864 1/4 15.454 mph 86.66 i ran a Nissan 200 sx i dont know what his mods were but i do know he was spraying.
