stevebbb
My truck starts fine cold, but when it gets to operating temp and then sits for 10 or 15 minutes, it very hard to start. It seems to start easier if I give it a little gas when trying to start. It only has 5500 miles. I haven't been back to the dealer with this problem yet. I wanted some opinions before I go. Thanks, Steve
ralphie
i had similar problems w/ gm trucks in the past. it was a fuel pump both times. ralphie
slimsoftball
I also have that problem and have been wondering if it was a fuel pump starting to go.
stevebbb
Is the fuel pump in the gas tank?
slimsoftball
2003's are inline, from what I am told 2004's are in the tank.
stevebbb
It turns out my problem was the fuel pressure regulator. It starts great now! ;)
