I own a 08 V-MAX 4X4 with Banks headers and single back exhaust and absolutely love the power and sound of this truck. I had AFE cold air intake on it but between that and the AFM, I couldnt take all the noise and Im one to like the sound of an engine just not that non-sense. Ive read you can turn it off the AFM with a tune which Ive thought about doing Im just worried about the whole warranty issue. I wouldnt mind some input on people who have tuned there V-Max's, HP/TQ increase and MPG diff. Any input on that would be greatly appreicated BTW: My name has nothing to do with being a expert in any thing. ExpertX is a A/M snowmobile suspension that I use in all my sleds and Viper is a model of snowmobile that Yamaha built from 02-05. Now I own a 06 Yamaha Apex and a 01 SRX.
