sierra ss Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 Budget 5.7 with the 5.3 block. All thats needed is to bore it out 10mm and get some stock bore size ls1 pistons. zippy Posted January 10, 2010 Report Share Posted January 10, 2010 They are correct, you can't bore the 5.3L that far. I believe 3.905 or so is the max. I'd have to look it up to get the exact number though. They can be made into a nice 6.3L though if you bore and stroke them. The 383 projects we've done at work have made some impressive numbers.
