IMO dual springs for ANYTHING under .600" lift is just not necessary. PAC or Comp 918 are plenty for the cam you are running. The 06' and up already get the famous LS2 chain so at the most you could replace that without changing the gears. The job of changing the timing chain will certainly add some work to the job since you'll have to pull the oil pump to get the new chain on. Personally I'd just leave it alone. The dual springs are nice since it leaves you insurance that if the outer spring breaks the inner spring will still hold the valve up. They are a bit over kill however at your lift numbers.
