SSsilverado Posted March 18, 2010 Report Share Posted March 18, 2010 (edited) Had to trade in my 05 c6 vette for this but its much more practical in Montana. It was a longggg winter in that vette. Only things done to it are 22'' rims, brand new nitto tires and tinted windows. Today I'm going to install an amp kit and have 2 12'' subs in a stealth box under the rear bench seat. I'm also going to purchase a touch screen nav. off ebay. Love the truck so far and I'm really trying to figure out some affordable things to do under the hood. Another plus to the ss was my payments dropped about $50.00/month. Insurance only went down $27.00 every 6 months. It must be nice to have an ss silverado and a corvette c6! Thats my goal. It has some serious mods. thanks. i just blew the motor last friday. so now im building a 408 stroker i just picked up a stock 6.0 just so i can still drive my truck while building the stroker. so times im up by great falls. but never in the SS only in the work van . but maybe some day.
