Uncle Caleetro
I know I'm digging up an old topic, but is there any new information on performance tires? I am looking for a good tire for the stock wheel/stock size. Thanks.

PewterC3
I am also running the Nitto 404's. I can highly recommend them. A "V" rating with "A" traction and Temperture ratings and still has a 420 Treadwear rating. Not bad. http://www.nittotire.com/tires_404.asp or how about the non-directional 420s? http://www.nittotire.com/tires_420s.asp

Rays B4U
when is someone going to come out with a winter tire for 20" wheels i want it for the stock wheel. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cooper has a M & S rated tire. Not a bad looking tire. Plus I heard that Cooper Tires are american made, by an american company.

AUTOGUY
I've been buying the Eagle LSII for about $140.00 ea for 20" wheel and tire packages I've been doing on Denali's for a dealer.
Uncle Caleetro
Well I ended up going with the Nitto 404, but thanks for all the input! Now I can't wait to get some sway bars.
Todd@ProDyno
You guys are being harsh on Falken. Have you ever tried them? The STZ04 and STZ01 are both excellent tires, and put the oem Goodyears to shame. AT 172 shipped each, Id do the STZ01 all day long.
slj
Marcellitt, What Bilsteins did you get (make and model?) Tires: I ended up getting the BFG G-Force TA 285/55/20 http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/bfgapp/catalog/index_5.jsp They give a little more than the Goodyears, but traction is awesome! (sidewalls are not as attractive as the goodyears)
BenKey
I like Michelin - I had them on my last truck. didn't get much time on them before I sold them, but they seemed pretty decent all-around. I would either get them or BFGs. After many years of getting all 3 of the major sport truck magazines, it seems BFGs are the most popular. Falkken and Nitto stick really good because of the softer compounds, but with softer compounds comes quicker wear. Not saying that can't last, but what you get out of them will depend heavily on how you drive it. I think they are a little less forgiving. Khumo seems to be pretty popular also. If I ever get enough miles on mine to change the tires, I get BFGs. It's too bad the Michelin Hydroedge doesn't come in our size. These are the ones I like: G-force T/A kdw
