I'm a Volunteer Coordinator for Sanctuary Hospice in Glendale, CA. We are a not for profit healthcare provider serving the terminally ill. Medicare, Medi-Cal funded. What I do is recruit, train and place patient care volunteers with patients that have less than 6 months to live. I've been doing this since 2005 yet have a degree in electronic engineering.

I have posted my job in the previous what is you job thread, but since then I have changed careers i figured i would post agin.

I am the Facility Environmental Coordinator for JELD-WEN, a large window and door manufacturer headquartered in my home town. We have multiple different manufacturing facilities on campus and basicly I inspect the facilities to make sure they are not breaking any environmental rules set by the different goverment agencies. One good thing about my job is that i spend about 50% of my time actually walking the facility, so im not stuck behind a desk 24/7.

I'm an Army trained Biomedical Equipment Technician meaning I fix medical equipment in a hospital. It is a great job with great pay so if anyone is considering joining the military or wants to change their MOS, I highly recommend becoming a BMET. The course is a triservice school so you can be in the Navy, Airforce or Army to participate. I've been at it for 6 years now and still enjoying it.
