Smartphones, I Phone Or Droid

The Androids are the most insecure devices on the planet. thier marketplace constantly has apps removed from it because they are trojans, viruses, etc. Those devices also store and send passwords in plain text format.. easy to snag and steal.

The iphones are nice, but for my money, Id get a Windows 7 phone. Ive been rockin one for about 6 months and its amazing.

Interesting response. You know , answering this question is only going to be as subjective as each person's opinion.

When looking at devices, you need to see which really fits your life and in my case, my work as well. You also need to look at which phone is the most secure phone considering how much identity theft is going on in this this world.

that said, Check out this article..

and thats a recent vulnerability in Android.

You could also look at the future of the marketshare , in which Windows phones will be number 2 within the next 3 to 4 years.

but all that aside, OP, get whichever phone you want, whichever one fits you , and your needs best.. just make sure its a secure platform (and RIM is going downhill fast... look at thier most recent outtage..)

I have the original HTC Incredible and it's nothing but junk. I've had it since early last year and I'm counting the days to get rid of this POS for something more reliable. I'm still not sure yet which direction I'll go, I like features the Droid has but I also like features the Iphone has, so we'll see.

Wow, this is like asking everyone which motor oil or gear oil is the best? LOL. Thanks everyone for your input. I still have not made a decision at the moment. Keep the feedback coming though! I will probably go the Droid direction since the I Phone I want (the 4S), is still a little high for me right now. Like I said, the wife is getting one too, so a $200 phone will run me $400. Looking for something a bit more cost effective at the moment!

FYI, a DROID phone is a specific model. Android is the platform. I highly suggest an Android phone, specifically HTC. I've had two so far and love them. You can do so much more customization on them compared to apple stuff. Apple seems to want to control you more, where as android stuff lets you take control. And some people may argue about apple products having a bigger market for apps and such, but the android market is getting huge and is getting pretty much all the same stuff as apple.

I just used Droid as a slang for Android. I know what you are saying though. Thanks.
