shawnss Posted November 16, 2011 Report Share Posted November 16, 2011 Oh wow that really sucks. glad to see it all getting taken care of. i had a 03 yukon and a deer did the same thing. but it was only 4k in damage. hit the rear drivers door and quarter panel. hit it so had it blew out both back windows. Cost for deer damage: 6900 cost for brake fluid damage: 2200 Total: $9100 No more bad luck my way please! Damn for 9100 makes me wish my truck got hit by something like that. I was outraged, lets put it this way, saying that lady got an ear full is an under statement haha. This has not been an easy road for me, last week on tuesday they got the door in and said it would be done on friday, then I called on friday and apparently they didnt work on it at all the whole week, and lied when they said all they had left to do was paint the door. Then they said itd be done yesterday, but they didnt get it done, and then they said itd be done today, and again, they didnt get it done, after multiple calls to the manager of the body shop and some choice words, its getting done tomorrow at noon. GOOD NEWS: Everything on the truck besides the hood and roof got repainted Pioneer AVH-P4200 INSTALLED Krypton Bulbs 35w 10,000k Came in the mail! Insurance companies and body shops are like that, when an idiot backed into my truck in a parking lot It took them two months to even get around to it. Sounds like they have been slacking, overly busy, or very Unmotivated to work.... and you the end results gets screwed, with a half assed paint Job. Ive got a couple friends that do body work, and 1 that owns a body shop....... they lack motivation, or in a hurry, and the end result shows.
