I never get out of the truck since I always carry my 9mm with me. I told you to be careful on my highways! anything 10 - 19 mph over is only 40 bucks but the killer is the 3 points on your license. Talk to the judge about attending an alive at 25 program. Usually they will dismiss the ticket if you attend and pass the course, it is one day for 4 hours. I used to teach it til I got over here to Afghanistan. That sucks, but it is kinda funny. So if my cruise was set at 83 and my gps said I was going 83 how did he clock me at 87¿ Wat says that his one device is more accurate then my truck and gps? I think it's a little bs honestly but I just was adhering with him cause he seemed like he could be a real ass if ya smart mouthed him lol. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk Well at the beginning and end of every shift we do we have to calibrate our devices using tuning forks (they work off of vibration) which is enough for the courts. On top of that, the radar is also matched to our speedometers, Computer GPS, and on top of that our watchguard video system GPS. The computer, watchguard, speedo, and radar are 4 different speed devices that are all at the exact same speed, those matched with the calibration check and you are SOL every time. It is hard to compare a Tom Tom or Garmin to multi-thousand dollar systems built into the cars. Hate to say it but he was much more likely to be spot on. Many people have a tendency to tap their brakes just before looking down (subconsiously) and see a reduced speed from what is "trapped". I can explain further through PM if you want but unfortunately it was most likely either you or the truck that was off, not the Troop. Sorry bro. kissfans03ss Posted December 29, 2011 Report Share Posted December 29, 2011 <br />haha it was actually really stupid. i had my cruise set at 83 cause i no tickets over 85 go on your record so thats wat i always cruise at. he clocked me at 87 <img src='http://www.SilveradoSS.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> . my gps on my phone also said 83. then he started nit pickin me for everything else, he said my windows were to dark, my tailights cant be blacked out, i cant have covers over my license plates and my front one isnt even visible, headlight covers cant be black, cant have my reflectors covered, cant have the tint on my windshield. just everything and you know wat i say F THAT.<br /><br /><br /><br />That happened to me a few years back driving in N.Y. state... i set my cruise a few mph below the limit to avoid a ticked and bam this guy comes out of know where. I couldnt fight the ticket because I would have had to go to the judges house on a Tuesday after 5pm to argue my point and probably would have lost anyway.
