TBSS
Just curious - basically it seems like he is advertising something like a TT2600 for $127.00, and he has 100% positive feedback for nearly 2,500 transactions. I emailed the guy and he said these are stock 12" converter housings...but restalled? He also says they've been modified to receive 'Torrington bearings' versus 'thrust washers.' Zippy, anyone, where is this guy getting these converters...? And does this look like a good deal? High-Stall 4L60 Converter

TBSS
that one is a 30 spline, unfortunatly it won't work. So what is this converter out of then - it says 4L60? So what do I need? He's got a few different kinds. Sorry about the basic questions, I'm pretty ignorant in this area.
zippy
you need a 33 spline converter. the input shaft was made larger in 99 and newer full size trucks/utilities. all gen III small blocks as far as i know use the 33 spline torque converter. m396 #00-011
And the Yank TT series, is a re-stalled Trailblazer convertor in most cases. ;)
