supraman
I have the 4l60e wake up kit. At low speeds and low throttle My truck shifts extremely hard. It reminds of a sling shot when it hits second. When under hard trottle this is fine, but when it feels like something is going to break just putting is getting annoying. I am about to install a SC and I know things are not going to be able to hold up. Is this a symptom of the accum. piston going bad or just a reality of boost valve with billet servos? I am thinkin I need to toss what I have and get a Transgo shift kit....correct me if I am wrong???
BenKey
Did you remove springs out of your accum and put in spacers?
supraman
I don't think so Ben....I just installed what was in the kit
BenKey
The B&M kit I put in my last truck was like that. The major diff btwn that one and the transgo was the use of spacers vice stiffer springs in the accum. I hated that kit, love this one.

We can let our newborn ride in my truck it is so bad
zippy
that can be changed in programming. we've proven that with ryan's truck which shifts very hard at heavy-wide open throttle and rather mild at part throttle.
d_a_n_payne
I am about to order some servos and a shift kit. I was wondering what other things do I need to get or replace. I remember someone talking about some type of piston and somethin else that needs to be replaced, when doin these things. And do I need to get a seperator plate or does that come with the shift kit? Not tryn to steal your post but I thought that zip could answer this pretty quick.
zippy
if you have over 30k on your truck it's a good idea to pick up another spacer plate because your stock one may be beat up at the number 8 check ball. as for the other part, check here.
