Mr.Scary
ok.. so on any given boosted motor.... let me ask you this what needs to be changed in order to not pressurize the crankcase and blow seals. should you 1) put a breather on the PVC location? 2) put a breather on the oil fill cap? 3) put a breather on the drivers side valve cover nub? any of those..? The_aSSet
I had breathers on both valve covers but not the oil cap when I had my procharger. Still have them on being NA now too.
Mr.Scary
can you toss up a pic of the passenger side one you did?

shawnss
I just run little breathers on my valve covers. On Each side. I've never had any issue with blow by so far. Been running it like that for a few years. I bought a catch can system but have yet to install it.
idahoBLKss
all you really need is one on the oil cap , dont need 2.
Mr.Scary
looks nice.. but expensive http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS1-LS2-LS3-LS7-LSX-CORVETTE-CAMARO-OIL-CAP-VALVE-COVER-BREATHER-/190572725681?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c5f0505b1&vxp=mtr
The_aSSet
Go to AutoZone and get 2 little spectre filters and band clamp them to the nipples on the valve covers
MID12sSSS
Nipples? The only port i have on the valve covers is the drivers side for pcv, and my radix pulgs into it. Do i "T" it off some how?
Mr.Scary
passenger side has a nipple.. drivers side just has the pcv.. i put a small spector breather on the passenger side, and a billet oil cap .. no breather, on that side as well my pcv runs the top of my tbss intake.. i think.. id have to go look
The_aSSet
Well I have no pcv or evap stuff anymore so all my stuff is simplified lol
MID12sSSS
So do i block off the port on the cold air intake that plugs into the nipple and delete the hose completely, and then just put a filter the valve cover? Easy enough..
AKSSS
all you really need is one on the oil cap , dont need 2. This is all I have had. I bought a nice one from summit for like 50 bucks. All polished up. Well worth the money.
