Anyone up for a SoCal meet?

This weekend is a open test and tune at Famoso and then on April 13-14. They don't have a weekly thing

I was wrong. Looks like they do Friday nights.

Unless going to famoso speedway will bring people into going i don't wanna drive over 4 hours to meet up with 2-3 people. Where is everyone located, and we can then decide either San Diego, or Irwindale. But that 4+ hour drive is going to turn away the real SoCal people.

Well I am central and in Bakersfield about 20 mins from famoso. I suggested it because its close(having some issues with my truck), central to the state(thought there would be more involvement), and no shortage of good eats around here. Also go to the casino and we can try to pull a rain man.

 

It looks like only 4 of us interested. If we can't get any others we may have to decide on somewhere. I'll look up some times and dates, find different tracks, and set up a poll tonight. Use that to gauge interest. One of my issues is I live in Bakersfield, but go to school in Fresno so I put 500 miles a week on my truck. The LQ9 is a thirsty bitch.

 

But I digress. I'll look into everything and we can let the poll do the talking and then we go from there.
