f1ss
Hank's picture show the exact rims I was mentioning. Love them. Also like the ones you are choosing Bassmaster. I just happened to have BBS rims on my BMW and love them, no issues what so ever and would like them on my truck. I already have a 2nd pair of rims though and their no longer made. Good luck with the vote and with what rims you choose.
Hankg42
While I like the stock SS wheels, they always looked a little too flat for me. That's why wheels like this with a wider lip appealed to me. The first ones that I saw that I liked were the wheels on Krambo's (Kevin) truck (I don't remember the make), They are now on 8hnpSS's (Niko) truck. I don't think they are made anymore. The BBS's I bought were pretty close to that style, and I really liked the look on the truck. I also had 355/50-20 tires mounted on them. Those BBS wheels are an inch wider than stock, and it filled the wheel well nicely without my truck being lowered.
bassmaster
ah nice! i hear ya. agreed on the wheels needing a tad bit wider to look great for stock height. i think im gonna contact the preds seller and see if i can get some better shots of the "outer rim peeling" ..guess that'll make or break the deal. if not, ill wait 7 months till some new 20's come out :secret: and btw, just saw your from NJ! google mapped it, your only an hour away. im down next to LBI

There are usually several over the course of a year. I don't have my SS anymore, but I usually still go, because we have a great bunch of people. Keep an eye out in the Events section of the forum. f1ss
^^Another reason I really liked the BBS rims (inch wider than oem's like he stated).
bassmaster
Awesome, will do Hank! Squeezed a couple close up pictures out of the seller He said it's only peeling on the insides of spokes, as shown. The face and lip are fine he says. What do you guys think? Are they worth maybe $400 tops I'd offer? Or is it bad enough that I shouldn't even deal with them cause the peeling will spread or rust?? sent from your HTC Rezound
JC03SS
400$ tops is all I'd offer. It could spread.
bassmaster
Exactly. I never had chrome wheels before so Idk how bad this peeling actually is, what it leads to, or its lifespan. I don't NEED new wheels.. Just a wheel I liked, on CL for cheap, is what got me thinking about em sent from your HTC Rezound Edited June 2, 2013 by bassmaster (see edit history)
