JC03SS
Didn't take it as a cut at all. Sorry if I seemed short, was in a hurry. Yeah it's my truck. Search my screen name on YouTube for vids of mine and the current second fastest stock cube na sss. I actually used to be on dodge talk and was chasing the fastest ram na stock cube truck, but lost touch with guys and never found out if my 12.4 was enough to beat them. Can you give some info on your dodge? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2 I checked them out on YouTube. Those tires looked pretty skinny. What wheels were you running? shadowsniper3006
Yeah I run a skinny tire for less weight and rolling friction. 245/45/20. Proxes 4 tires were very good to me. shadowsniper3006
Wow the cam on that dodge seems very small compared to what we run, but obviously it hauls. I suppose we compare more to the qc rams but boy I would've liked chevy to beat that rc ram time. Do you know what the heads flow? Guess I'm kinda interested Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2 Edited August 31, 2013 by shadowsniper3006 (see edit history)
jmgak47
Actually that is considered big cam in a Hemi, all the Ram guys thought I was crazy. If you go much larger p2v becomes a issue on the intake side. The Hemi heads flow so well you don't need as large of a cam, you go much larger you stop gaining and just loose low end. Here are heads similar to mine, actually probably flow less since the are not hand blended. .100" lift 74 cfm int/50 cfm exh = 68% (exhaust to intake ratio) .200" lift 152 cfm int/103 cfm exh = 68% .300" lift 227 cfm int/158 cfm exh = 70% .400" lift 277 cfm int/196 cfm exh = 71% .500" lift 297 cfm int/212 cfm exh = 71% .600" lift 309 cfm int/221 cfm exh = 72% In good weather and on the new light weight track wheels/tires I bet it would have ran 12.3's. But I bailed on it out of fear I was going to eat another trans. The 545RFE is like a 4L60e with no real answer of making stronger... That was one fast truck. Congrats
shadowsniper3006
Wow actually our ls heads actually make those look bad. Mine flow 335 @ .600. Now I'm even more interested in the motors. Just for comparison I'm using a 235 cam to run my numbers Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk

I'm not a huge ram fan but give credit where it's due. That was one fast truck. Congrats Thanks man! Appreciate it, put a lot of time and effort to get all I could out of it. That was stock heads with stock valves, honstly haven't looked at flow charts for any heads other then the LS7 style my other truck has. Which runs a 270/278 .70x/.70x 110+4 That is a health bump stick you have! Still new to the GM world lol Edited September 1, 2013 by jmgak47 (see edit history)
shadowsniper3006
Ohh, with stock valves that's pretty good. Mine are trick flow right now, but my ported stock heads were still like 228 or something, but larger valves. Holy crap what's your other motor like? shadowsniper3006
Holy s$&!. What's the et on it so far? Ever dyno it? Compression? Do you street drive it , and if so have you noticed any oil burning issues? Jessel rockers...your going to die pennyless aren't you....Jessel belt drive to? Is the converter enough? Do you have it set up to lock during the pass? Edited September 1, 2013 by shadowsniper3006 (see edit history)
jmgak47
Its still being built. Built to take the N/A 99+ GM truck record. Basically max effort hydraulic roller. Compression is 11.8:1 It will be street legal and has rings setup so it will not burn much oil at all. Lemme tell ya its not cheap haha, not sure what my engine builder used honestly. The converter will be plenty with the TQ the 454 will make. Didn't wanna go to large for shake downs the first season. It will not be setup to lockup, not a fan of it.
