Well the SS is dead :(

Wow yeah I have never not had a DD since owning the SS. Heck I just bought a beater to get away from my DD 05 crew cab 2500hd because of crappy fuel. My 1998 accord gets 24mpg in town and my HD only got 10mpg. So I feel your pain.

Tr6 would be fine, the br6ef is a better plug though if you can find it quick though. My local speed shop had them when fuggin summit messed up my order and I had a tuning appointment that day. Like Shawn said, gap them @ .032. Thats where mine are set at and I'm at 6-7 psi on the mp112.

As said, scan. Since it isn't knocking, it sounds like a really bad misfire or possibly vacuum leak.

From the sig, looks like you have an Eaton on that motor. If still SC'd, I'd go with a copper plug to help shuck off heat. Don't know what the 6.0L motor prefers. On my L67 setup, they always favored copper Autolites.

Good luck.

Richard here are the plug #s to answer your question on that:

NGK TR6ix - 3689 are the iridiums with a projected 100K service life pre-gapped in .030s

NGK TR6 - 4177 are the copper ones with a 25-30K service life also pre-gapped in .030s

NGK BR6EF - 3177 are the even colder than above^ with your setup I don' think those are necessary. The TR6 4177 will be sufficient for you but they will need changing after 25-30K as they are copper. If you want to spend a little more on iridiums go for it as these will not need to be changed for at least 75K.

I say in .030s because every single time I have done plugs especially these the gap is off. So get a gap tool and check and gap at .032 as stated above. That's the gap you want on SC'd application.

In SoCal Napa is the best place to get these, they can have them same day usually. Most auto parts stores won't carry these specific NGKs.

Now is this your problem? Not sure, good luck! Let us know....

Yeah I hope that's the problem gonna change them tomorrow at the specified gap and scan for codes might just do a full diagnostics. I believe the tune is off because it clogged my high flow cats within a year and now burning through plugs. Idk

Have chpspecial re-tune you

I've talked with him and I am planning on going with him just gotta find time to do it. Problem is it like two hours away. He was going to tune me for the efans and was just gonna have him do a full tune but just ran out of time due to work and now I'm in school again for the new semester idk. But now I think it's necessary so might talk with him and ask for a day off work to do so.
