NipRing
Im sorry if im beating a dead horse. I've tried to read all these threads about puttin on the tbss intake on an 03 but i just keep reading the 03 vette fuel filter is the magic part that changes my system to a return style. I dont understand. My truck has 1 in 1 out on my fuel filter, yet my fuel rails have two connections. The vette filter has 2 in 1 out and the connection are a different type and the tbss rail has 1 connection. i cant make sense of it. Sorry im a dumb ass but can someone please explain what has to happen? thanks
Mr.Scary
you connect the vette filter up by the rail.. I did NOT have luck making that work. I got a bypass style FPR from aeromotive and its been perfect since.
zippy
If you use the vette filter you still don't have a vacuum regulated system which is part of the advantage of the 03' system. Do it right and buy an aftermarket regulator.
NipRing
So will I still need the vette filter if i get an aftermarket regulator? I want to do it which ever way is best. Pointing me at any particular part numbers would be great too! Thanks!
