TurbochargedBerserker
Chuck came up with some beefier, high grade shafts that will be options on the new L5s. It was a good reason to just do the engine build up and stop trying to schedule it for th e perfect time Hopefully the break in period will be easier on my foot with a 'break-in' tune
m396 #00-011
The clutch lining on the TC is what we think fragged but Chuck and Chuck (local and FLP) think it was a manufacturing issue at this point. The other possibility is something aluminum in the TC fragged. The TC is coming out and FLP will diagnose it and PI will build a new one based on that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wouldn't have anything to do with you locking the TCC at 12mph, would it. Sorry, but with that much power, they're going to need a damn good TCC material for that.
TurbochargedBerserker
Wouldn't have anything to do with you locking the TCC at 12mph, would it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not according to Chuck. Plus I didn't get that far to try it out He did say that he thought it'd get better track performance in second gear. He said to try to locking it up at the bottom of third, top of second, middle of second and bottom of second and see which the truck liked best. So, one day, when everything stays in the truck for longer than a month, and I get back to the track, I'll try that out
