Dylan06SS
DAMN! Guess they added alot of weight w/ the extra doors... that still seems a bit slow. Probably combination of driver and getting the truck to hook up good
ChevySSandChevy8.1
thats pretty sad, for that much power, the extra weight kills the speed
CrAzYMoPaRGuY
I would love one if they were some silly astronomical price. Which I'm sure they are..... A mid 15 second timeslip for a 500 horsepower truck means something is awfully wrong, I've seen low 13's and high 12's from SRT10 regular cabs that hook decently, and mid to high 13's for cautious launched trucks, so mid 15s sounds like something was gone astray? Good looking trucks the SRT10s, but wayyyyy too much moolah for the average Joe to even look at.

SuperSport
I would say that the extra cab would only slow it down by that much in the 1/4. the motor is so big and makes so much torque, i think if it was well driven it wouldn't pull anything less than a high 13. TimB
Can't compare the quad cap to the reg cab. The quad cab is an Automatic.
rdss
They also say that the SSR is faster than the SS and that the SS runs 16.06 in the quarter. I do not take any numbers from any magazine to heart. We will just have to wait for someone to pick one up and head to the track to get a real time.
