  1. wow!! concider yourself lucky!!! glad to hear ya got it back!!! truck looks really great!!
  2. pretty much a shell on the inside, its pretty much stripped except the dash and door panels, didnt take them out. still had the front door speakers blahblahblah when i was full weight just without backseat it still ran a 12.00-12.3 which still isnt to shabby ;) personnally i dont think i dropped 1k lbs. if i had to guess i think it wieghed 4495 full trim. or close to it.
  3. hope its photochopped!! sorry not a fan of the scheme
  4. 4250 with me in it. Striped the interior rear inter panels flooring just had the drivers seat. Exterior whatever I co uld find lol
  5. i'm with ya on this, nothing negative about it, kinda agree with ya on the .5 looking and reading about other 6.0 fully bolted rcsb's most are running around 11.4 - 11.6 but my thing is if i can get the weight down like i intend to i just think its posible, (key word posible) didnt say i could lol just saying posible, by the way those i have read about hitting 11.4 plus were lq4's ( correct me if i am wrong) plans are to strip the truck, basically like i did with the ecsb. depends on what it weighs now, the 99 models are lighter than 01 or 02 guess cause of the W/T package dont really know.. lol ilke the idea of a dual shot !!!!! definately would get r done dialing in and loosing weight!!! whatcha mean? i run 16" hoosier slicks with 18" boyds on the front i agree!! i was amazed myself!!!
  6. i'd check wheel balance, then again i see you mention stockers also, and the front ball joints? , check the drive shaft for defects ie: dents and so forth, cant see it being the rear with just 2 inch shackles but then again you never know
  7. sad news, specially this day and time!!
  8. most definately!!!! wish i had vid of the 11.8x run in the ecsb!!! but i dont
  9. well, since the wife got a new 09 rcsb i have now got a 01 rcsb sitting in the drive way, since i met my goal of a 11.8x run with a stock 6.0 short block in the ecsb, its time to see if i can hit a 11.00 flat with the ecsb drivetrain, soooo i will be swapping my drivetrain to the rcsb and adding a few modifcations to suspension and a few other things, like maybe a bigger cam. i know .8 is a lot to drop but i got a real good feeling i can hit it in a rcsb anything less will be icing on the cake, if i dont reach this goal then it will be time for a fully forged HKE 408 build to run NA with a couple of small shots of nitrous ;) i personally feel i can reach this goal pretty easy, but who knows dropping time of the ET isnt all that easy!!!

well i also had all the goodies added to the heads ;) and a little more work done, which ran alittle higher around 1800.00 !! cant waite to get the truck back, hopefully i'll be looking to drop a few more 10th's at lease 2
  11. yep, its right up my alley since my ls3 heads are fully ported. may decide to up the cam spects though from a 232/238 to something bigger.. since i have a chance to put this drivetrain in a rcsb
  12. seen the post on pt.net hope it holds true, i'm ready to pull the plug on getting !!! pending on the cost lmao!!! thanks for the info!!
  13. i used O rings from my 6.0 stock injectors worked fine, used them on my 42#s. using edelbrock fuel rails works well
  14. thanks mr. P much appreciated, i'll be heading to SAR for the ls1truck.com get together. hadnt gotten the nitrous setup yet still debeating lol, dunno if i wanna take the NA bar higher ( or lower lol ) already thinking forged 408 all motor!! and still daily drive it, like i do now, by the way i also have a RCSB truck its red with an ole 4.3 in it, 02 model, at one time, which it will probably happen is to take this drive train and drop it in it..dunno just have so many options or routes i can go but i guess it all depends on how far i wanna take it!!! p.s i keep telling myself i dont wanna do roll cage or roll bar, and if i hook the 150 shot i know that'll be my last truck run wherever i run it at. thus thinking of doing it at SAR!! since i dont go to that track lol.. but then again i would have to spend the money on the kit just to run it one TIME!!
  15. yes i think thats the number its the 2 1/16th yeah not so much expensive taste, just tired of buying junk off the internet for it being used!!!specially when someone tells ya one thing to just to find out another, you know that famous saying " was working when removed" dont always beleave that chit lol
  16. yes!! it is pricey!! dunno if i buy for quality or a name lol!!! but i dont buy cheap parts!!when it comes to my truck!! i believe in getting what i pay for!!
  17. i have the autometer fuel pressure gauge ( electric ) works perfect easy to to hook up, make sure you get the sending unit with it!!! i tested it against a mechanical guage and was dead on!!
  18. i got 2 sets one set are take offs of a new vechicle for 55.00 shipped or a used set with undetermined miles for 45.00 shipped pm me if interested!!! these are stock 5.3 injectors
  19. same as mine also, i would change the clamps though, looks to bent enough not to seal the connections
  20. thanks Mr. P!! i'll def. llok into it, as i know all my numbers
  21. if you have to go mail order go BLACKBEAR!! at lease he sends you a logger so he can make proper adjustments,<-- thats the best way to go if you dont have a local tuner!!! the only mail order that i know of that is so damn close to perfect would be allen nelsons!!!!
  22. first off not to disrupt 03_ss thread but mr. P could you pm me which one would you actually prefer, i know you mention both are well known and great, but rather choose one then both.. patrick G spected my cam and i luv it, it put my ecsb in the 11's so i am happy, but i am currious to see what theyre spects would be or at lease one of them.. thanks, daivd once again sorry for the thread disruption !! on another note install the the TC you'll luv it regaurdless if youre stock or not
  23. dunno about others but thats a nice increase from a tune, congrats!! on your numbers
