  1. well just currious what slicks are being used at the strip, the ones you use do you hook really well? i am running 28x10x16 hoosiers C07 compound, but cant hook 100% still have slippage on the line..looking into some softer compound, anyone have any ideas on which ones are softer?

  3. correct: Na all the way!! mods= lq9 stock short block, l92 top end l92 truck intake, custom ported heads to my spects from TSP custom grind cam from patrick G ( awesome dude ) to our spects. 4k PI stall, Performabuilt 4L60E, built to the hilt !!! 4:10 gears, auburn pro series LSD.. stock 10 bolt!!! this mofo hooks lookout!!! just talked to the wife, SHE SAID : FAWK THE WORLD!!! sooooo flaco we got work to do!!!!! flaco get the parts list together for the 150 shot!!!! the more i think about it the more i want it!!!!! ordering up 90/10 shocks this evening. adjustable rears also. also softer COMPOUND slicks!!!! the backend is very stiff!!! gotta loosen it up. at the first of the year i will run it NA for best NA time ( try to break my own 11:8 time ) then its juice time for SAR!!!! i know theres a 11:5 or 6 pass in it 11:6 will exceed all expectations i had for the truck!! flaco is one of the best tuners that has ever tuned my truck, along with kevin (v8) hacking !!! THANKS ALL I REALLY APPRECIATE THE SUPPORT AND CONGRATS!!!! TIME TO RAISE THE BAR THROUGH THE ROOF!!!
  4. thanks again fellas, its much appreciated!!! hey joe got one bar to set and thats with nitrous ;) i know the truck has a 11.5 NA in it if i can get it to hook. just maybe 11.6 or 7 foresure. once i accomplish this feat then 150 shot and a 10 sec pass and i am DONE!!!! low 10's ;)
  5. deffinately can be a ccomplished, i also have a stock bottom lq9 i hit 11.8 last night and still slipping on the line, ordering up some lakewood shocks and some rearshocks, for weight transfer, and some softer rubber slicks. but i'm running NA. dunno how it will hold up against nitrous but the best of luck to ya, you'll get there!!! then my next plan is to feed it a 150 pill and hope for 10's

  7. proven setup for damn sure!!! joe i know what ya mean lol loud!!! i went with the biggest magnaflow with a built in cross over, still kinda load but not near what it used to be, at lease i can have a convo with a passenger!!

  10. thats a BADAZZ RUN MAN!!! any weight reduction? looks to be a good chance to hit a 11.9+ pass!!! i'll be looking to hit a 11 sec pass tonight along with another ecsb!! congrats on those times, that thing is moving big time!!! ahh you used nitruos? how big of shot? thought it was all motor!!!
  11. if you had or have supporting heads that are high flowing like l92s stage 2's like mine, 11:1 cr and a 4k stall , that bi_tch would hall azz, i am already talking to patrick G about another spected cam for my setup which i have a 232/238 cam, and it kicks azz.you'll loose some driveabilty but fawk it lol.. on another note my lift is also higher than that but not by much. this cam foresale? if so pm me. might be interested.

    only could muster a 12.3 & 12.4 passes with traction issues, but had a great day running !! i'll be putting the cal-tracs on soon, if that doesnt get me to where i wanna be then i will be pulling the stall and have it restalled with a higher STR

    it was cold and the track was slick ( traction issues )but for what its worth i am satisfied with the outing until later today or tomorrow.. my goals are to see a 12.0 flat run which i know is there!!
  16. might be limited on stock, i would go ahead and look for some 42#s be on the safe side!!!
  17. if youre not 408 yet the tbss intake would work well 408 go with a vic got a tbss intake if you need it cheap pm me. just intake no fuel rails , do have some stock injectors though
  18. me personally i would go new, this way you know what ya get, not saying anything is wrong with the converters being sold on the net, as long as you know the history of the stall, its just critical to put something used like a stall in..

  20. keep the heads you have, youre better off, get the other heads sell them off for 100.00 bux or so. save the rest, get the cam srpings and push rods, then later port your heads.
  21. very satisfied with my l92 truck intake!! I spin up to 6800 rpms without problems pretty much levels out right there!! damn zippy that 7.0 is some seriuos chit!!! 588 is that rwhp NA?
