Well guys last friday i went and bought an engagement ring. Ive been with this young lady for 3 years and shes the one. So were goin to gatlinburg this weekend and im going to propose to her there. Im not really worried bout her saying no because weve already talked about everything. She knows shes gettin a ring she jus thinks it gonna be later. But im still nervous as hell! lol. Any way sorry for the useless post but ill post the results after we get back from gatlinburg

I don't personally agree with VH1, but I do like the song, and unless you've heard Skynyrd play live it in Alabama, you've never heard rednecks get loud.
Yeah, this sucks. Back in like 2000, some rapper did a song and it used the rythem from Alabama and the words Sweet Home California. I also don't
like RHCP using the guitar lick for Dani California, but I'm not a big Chili Peppers fan either.

Lots to say but will try to keep it brief, this is going to be another brain dump -
First, NO WOMAN is worth getting into a fight or going to jail over. Man Rule.
Second, that girl is troubled; the way she lives her life is bringing you nothing but drama. She is simultaneously jerking both your chain as well as that of this other guy. This is the kind of woman that trouble just seems to follow like the wake after the Titanic.
A little Dog Whisperer take on this - notice how SHE comes to YOU? Notice how HE comes to YOU? And Cesar says the leader (dominant one) never walks over to the follower(s), it is the other way around - the submissive ones gravitate to the leader. Think about it.
In this little dysfunctional love triangle YOU have been already been "elected" the dominant one by default, SO ACT IT. This is my suggestion - do not ask but rather TELL that bitch you expect her to make a clean/clear-cut decision as to what she is going to do with her life, as Mr. Miagi say "grape can walk on left side, or walk on right side, but walk down middle and *squish*"; and coming is the most important point here, that being you cannot tell another human being what to do only what you expect and this is another really good life rule - manage others by making your expectations clear and explicit, then let them make their decisions.
Personally I like strong women, the kind that don't need to be saved or rescued so your description of this young woman really kinda puts me off personally, BUT that being said there is a right and wrong way

I'd say Transgo HD2 ..I happened to buy the kit with the accumulator piston and the metal seperator plate in it and while your at it do a corvette 2nd gear servo. Those ran me about $120 all together. You might also want to do the Superior 4th gear billet servo which runs about $55 ( I did not do it but alot of other people have). If you really want to dive into it and beef it up, Mr P was very kind and wrote me a novel in my pm box about adding things since the tranny is out.
i dont really wanna dive into it i just wanna know what ppl are doing to keep them together...

what tranny mods would you guys go with on a limited budget?

im plannin on doin some performance mods after Christmas
LT headers, highflow cats, tune, plugs and wires, and a 160* Tstat. I already have a CAI.
I know this wont add the horsepower of an s/c or nitrous but my qeustion is, do I need to add any tranny upgrades to support the added horsepower now or can I wait? Although tranny upgrades in in the near future i didnt know if i needed to do them now or wait. The last thing i wanna do is blow my transmission.

I'm a huge Skynyrd fan and even have a tat for another song of theirs. There's no doubt this blows. Unfortunately sampling is legal as long as
the royalties are paid and credit given. What sucks is that either MCA or Judy Van Zant and Ed King had to agree to release it.
