  4. No codes have popped up. I talked to Vince at FLT Trans over the phone today. He said to get the Accum pistons checked for leaks. Frustrating.
  5. Thanks! I have been having trouble with my trans with the 1-2 shift (might also be the 3-4 shift too). Sometimes it will "hold" the shift from 1st to 2nd, no matter if I am starting off normal driving or hammering on it. It sucks when I am hammering on it cause it jumps up to 5000-6000 rpms and will not shift. Its like it adds another 10 seconds to the shift and then shifts normal into second. It does it whether it is cold or warmed up. I have had the 1-2 and 3-4 shift solenoids replaced and that didnt fix it. Just wondering if that was some of the signs of bad accum pistons. Thanks again for the response.
  6. I dont mean to rob the post...but I have a quick question. What is the advantage of upgrading the accum pistons and if the stock pistons are bad...what signs will the transmission give?? Thanks
  7. Not to get off subject....but man I was a huge Houston Oilers fan. Earl Campbell was and is my favorite player.
  8. I posted a while back that my "A" 1-2 shift transmission solenoid were bad, so I had both A & B solenoids replaced. Well....the shift from 1st to 2nd is still hanging at times (its like it takes an extra 5-6 seconds to shift). It does not matter if the trans is cold, at running temp, regular driving, or hammering on it (which is scary when it holds the shift at WOT and the tach is reading 6000rpms for a brief second ). So I took it back to the Trans shop and they replaced the solenoids again (both A and B were done at the same time) and it is still doing it. It seems to do it around once a day? The transmission mech said it has to be something telling the solenoid to wait to open?? Could my tune have something to do with this?? Or what tells the solenoids to open?? I am stumped. Thanks for any help.

  13. This one felt good! I was behind an older Ford truck (70's) and he was going side by side with a newer dodge ram that I think only had exhaust as a mod. Well they finally got to a light and went for it. Well as the blue and black smoke poured out of the Ford the Dodge beat him to the next light (about 6 blocks apart)...the Ford turned off and guess who pulled up to the Dodge.. me. Well the dodge is all confident lookin over and grinning like he's all that, plus he had his girl with him (they were about mid 20's). He was acting like he was staging at a dragrace before the light turned so I tapped the tow/haul button (my tuner has put a more agressive shift points on the tow/haul in my tune) , light turns green we both go, after I shift into second I easily got two trucks on him and pulling. My girl was lookin back and said she could see his girl lookin over at him mouthing "go, go, go". Got to the next light and he turned off a block before. Man that felt good.

  17. I got an Outlaw Power CAI and love it. Couldnt get my AWD SS on a dyno, so I had a street tune with HP Tuners. That was a huge difference!
