get it!! just make sure its in good condition and run a carfax to check if the title is clean!! sweet price for it even a t 20gr......good luck..the wife will eventually understand if u get it now....and u r right they are rare to find and dont last long on lots......keep us posted!!!

thats what i told the dealership tech ...i said he was crazy to charge that much for just a KEYLESS entry...its not even a security system....They still charged me $53 dollars to diagnose that the remote was defective....Then dealership wonder why people dont take their vechiles there after warrenties are up!!

I just recently took my truck to get serviced for the instrument cluster repair, under warrenty, and i figured i would have the dealership look at my one keyless entry remote to see what was going on...Well it was told that i have a defective remote...and it would cost $60 for the replacement remote and $140 for the labor to program the new remote...I ended up telling the guy to screw it...i wasnt paying $300 for only one keyless entry remote!! when i can get a decent after market alarm/remote start for a couple hundred more! So my question is....Is there an easier way to purchase a keyless entry remote and program myself?? Thanks

My clusters were not working as well...I just noticed over the last couple days...The clusters dont work when i first start up the truck, however, they will begin to work when it seems the truck is fully warmed up..I dunno if my clusters are bad or not..but I scheduled an appointment to get them checked..The dealership told me that it will not cost anything even to run the diagnostics to see if they are faulty....

just making sure im understanding this correctly...if i get HP tuners i will need to purchase another pcm..and just have tunes sent via email when i update with future mods ...... Thanks for all the help with me to understand this process....

if i get the HP tuner software, they could just sent me the file and download it to put into my truck..right?? im new to tuning....what would i need to purchase for my pcm to be tuned?

would having zippy, nelson, wheatley tuning a superchip be the same as having a custom tune with HP tuner from one of them ?

I am looking to get a tuner for my 03 ss....whats peoples opinion on superchips?? and getting the superchip tuned by someone knowledgable instead of answering their yes/no questions.....
