So i had a freind who was working at a bar in addison that got closed, so she moved toanother bar b/t 35 and loop 12... I was coming home from visiting her at her first day at her new job(i drank water if you're curious) and i see an old infiniti that looks like it belongs in a junkyard in the rear view flashing his hazards and brights at me on 35 in farmers branch(cop city)... I have a full bottle and the 93 tune, he's got no chance so i didnt want to waste my gas(especially at 3.90 a galllon) on his POS, besides m radar detector was lit up like a christmas tree. I pull over to the far right thinking he'll just pass me, he follows me for about 3 miles flashing his brights and hazards. I pull onto George bush thinking he wont follow b/c it's a toll road... wrong... i get off right by the police station in carrollton and he's bouncing it off the rev limter at the light... I race him to 40, all fuel, slamm on the brakes to let him blow by and hook a hard left accross 3 lanes(no traffic) and go down josey to lose him. Am i missing something?? Why try so hard to race someone who is obviously avoiding you?

I don't think anyone is tuning those yet... they also have a throttle limiter on them that wont let them crack it wide open, so it's like bringing a knife to a gun fight. plus they are turds off the line anyway... good kill though

all of my chrome accents on my truck that werent painted were skinned in flat black vinyl. the only chrome i really have left are the stars/hardware on my wheels. it looks sick on a blue truck.... on a black truck... batmobile!!! and SICK!

so i'm starting to get a bit of vibration off of the torque converter on my truck, whch means it's backwards from what i wanted to happen, I wanted to blow my motor up then the tranny so i could justify a swap. I torched the rear end already, got an eaton one, now the converter is going here's my options: -Find a durtymax(LB7 or LBZ) paired w/ a built allison.. this isnt the most cost effective way and i'm pretty sure i would be out of my truck/bike/dirtbike/drinking/girl budget for the next 3 years on this one(gotta eat a lot of ramen after this solution but it is very possible) -get a new tq converter, and wait for the engine to take a dump and mate something easy to the 4l65 and eventually rebuild that little effer(and no an LSX isnt an option on this one, that thing is way out of the price range for me) -burn the truck down and quote it on insurance

you might want to try an old school mechanical to test it out, they are a lot more accurate IMO. you'd only be out like $50 on that one, but atleast you'd know that the aeorforce was accurate just curious... does the aeroforce read 2-3lbs with the truck not running?? PS did you check the blinker fluid??

that piece of plastic is called the door sail, the gayest name ever, i have a tool for pulling plactic panels like that, but a flat head wrapped in some tape works pretty well if ur careful, there are some bolts in there, i think 8mm's, then you got an 8mm inside of where the arm rest/door handle is after you get those done slide up on the door, make sure you got something to set the plastic on while you're pulling harnesses on the door lock/ window module.. you might want to take a pic for future reference on that before you start unplugging sh** the harnesses only fit one way but it's in a pretty awkward place.. and the speakers are weird... there a clips w/ foam in them, pull the foam out and the clips get real obvious

didnt they use that turbo V6 as a platform for the indy cars back then... the viper is a sweet car, i tried to get one to race me the other night when i was riding... he wouldnt do it but little rice burners try it all the time, i dont understand.. lol

but the yota is a SC v6... you cant compare that with the 5.4 that the lightning has, besides the lightning is only scary b/c it's a combo of Reg cab Short bed and the SC 5.4, the 4 runner is pretty heavy.. IMO you'll walk all over him

i graduated in 04.. just helping you guys feel a bit older... first vehicle: 1991 SS 454 silverado..it was technically my dad's "boat pulling truck".. First vehicle i bought: 01 24v cummins reg cab standard bed, i never did anything to it, and i regret it. i miss them both though

you know you've been to too many diesel pulls when you look at the torque first... Dude i have to say those are some badass numbers, when you get the final tune on there i think you're gonna make some of the 24v dyno queen owners cry.. now for a loaded question, that dyno pull was just fuel right??
