Well heres my situation. About a month ago I installed a transgo hd2 shift kit with 2 washers as well as a corvette servo. Ever since I did the install I was a little dissappointed in it's performance. When shifting from 1st to 2nd it seemed to shift alright but it did not seem to shift any firmer than stock. And when I was really on the throttle it seemed to shift even slower. Well at that point I talked to a few people and they told me that it just needed to be tuned, but that just driving it like that for a little while would not cause any damage to the transmission. Well last weekend I went fourwheeling and pulled an enclosed trailer. It wasn't terribley heavy but at one point the tranny still seemed to get a little warm around 200 degrees. After this I noticed it didn't seem to shift out of first gear until about 4500 rpm, later I realized this was because it was shifting directly from 1st to 3rd. I can't seem to do anything to make it shift into 2nd. Also it should be noted that when I am doing about 40 to 50mph and hit the throttle it downshifts and then it seems to come out of gear and hit the rev limiter. At this point I am very confused with what is going on. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, and sorry about the long post. P.S. do you guys think that I am doing any more damage to it buy driving it without it going to second gear, cause it is my daily driver and I may not have a chance to work on it till next weekend. At real low throttle I can feel it shift a little firmer, but when I get on the throttle it shifts real slow in all gear changes. It kinda feels like it could be the Torque Management kicking in, but I wouldn't think that it would apply enough to make the shifts even slower than stock. I haven't been able to get my PCM tuned yet thats workin into the budget for next month, but I don't want to burn up my tranny in the mean time. Also it downshifts awesome, if I kick it down at 30 it slams down into gear and takes off right away. I guess maybe I'll just have to wait and get it tuned and see if that fixes it.

I just installed a transgo shift kit on my truck and now it seems to shift even slower than before . It doesn't seem to slip at all while in gear but when it shifts it takes a really long time. I can't figure it out, has anybody else had this problem, and if so did they find a solution, cause I gotta get it figured out before I burn up the bands in my tranny. Any advise would be helpful right now. Right now being a newbie I can't make a new post for this so I figured this would probably be the best place for it.
