  1. No the flip down is not lighted. Fox, going to keep the hidden hitch I guess but just have to remove the plate when I need access to the hitch. I cut over 150lbs off my truck since last year and adding a 50lb hitch just isn't appealing right now. It will be in the winter when I need to trailer the sleds though.
  2. MR Slut, Sorry to hijack! Rule number 2 broken I must say, the lexan cover is bad ass! Here is the Twill Carbon Fiber one I made. Lighting sucks as well but until I get to clean my engine, these will have to do.
  3. Kim has first shot but funny thing is that I have 2 of them (long story). Here it is: Flip down plate bracket $20 shipped to your door.
  4. Attention BSER roll pan owners! Brand new license plate lighted bolts (high quality, brushed stainless steel look) qty: 2 and a flip down license plate holder for access to your "hidden hitch" and spare tire drop. Both are brand new in package. Will not separate. $25 shipped. Also have a hidden hitch but do not want to ship. $100 Selling due to change in plans
  5. ... Kind of did it too. I have a lexan one that I brushed with 500 grit sand paper with an SS sticker on it. Pealed the sticker off and now the SS is the only part that is see through. That got old, so I made some thick twill carbon fiber and made a REAL carbon fiber lid. I liked that on the best so I kept it. I will post some pics tonight as well! Jboyss saw my carbon fiber one I did it for strength and seal first, looks 2nd but I will have to admit, the deep twill carbon fiber with silver highlights is impressive looking without getting too "rice". You broke the SSS.com rule of no posts till you have pics!!!!
  6. ...just developed this or has it been there since your tune? ...tuning issue. throttle cracker?
  7. I agree with the off idle launch as well. Log some launches and look at the KR. I would sometimes get 5* + of KR and in turn lay down an aweful 1.90 - 2.00 60 ft. (3000 stall converter). I am doing the taboo meth through the radix and it sure does keep Intake temps down. I am scheduling some dyno time at the end of the month and hopefully hit the track while the weather is cool. Pulling a 1 second time difference is HUGE! Nice work!
  8. Yank TT3000 for sale. $400 shipped to your door.
  9. That's an expensive Magnaflow exhaust system

    87 octane

    ...you hear pinging?
  11. Keep us posted Zippy! Seems like you can just get the smaller pulley and belt somewhere else and do the tune yourself and save alot of $$$ if you have the software and tuning ability.
  12. F-type is a very good fluid to get the clutches to grab and shift. I read a thread a while back on LS1tech and many people went into how much better fluid it was over the GM fluids. Some even referred to it as a shift kit in a bottle. I think of the other fluids I mentioned as taking yet another step further. If I didn't want to go ahead with the more expensive ones, F-type fluid would be going on over the GM fluid. Been debating using SYNTHETIC F-type FLUID in my new tranny. I was also a bit timid on the synthetic due to its functional properties (lets the tranny slip more) but liked the fact that it handles the heat / foaming much better. I feel that this may be the best of both worlds Opinions? Ben, I know you like the Amsoil type Anyone else have opinions on the "grippy synthetic fluids"?
  13. This company may be the ticket. I'll bet Speartech can do this as well. need to make some phone calls. Price is the setback, if they cost too much, then I will be cutting. Fuel injector adapter Or this E-bay auction injector harness Are the GM fuel injectors the EV 6 "T" style?
  14. All Valid points guys. Question: Is there a company out there that sells pigtails for the SVO injectors that will connect to the GM plugs without having to cut the wires? It would be so much easier...
  15. I would have loved to witness that

    HELP

    ...got a cam in there?
  17. The one I drove was listed at 22k I believe. The dealer said they could do 19500. Never really looked into the pricing too much.
  18. ...Been thinking of getting one. I test drove one and i liked the way it felt. Comfortable seats. What kind of performance is squeezed out of them with that stage II kit you guys are talking about?
  19. I am gearing up to do the Ford SVO 42#rs in my application and wanted to get everyone's opinion on the flow matched pieces vs. the standard off the shelf squirters. The flow matched are stated to be within 1% of each other whereas the off the shelf injectors can vary quite a bit (5-10%). The price difference is about $125-150. Well is it worth it to have the piece of mind that all cylinders are within close tolerance?
  20. With your choices, I would go with the Generals.
  21. SORRY 450+ to the wheels. TYPO!!!!! 8-9psi, 500TQ to the wheels
  22. I must have a freak stock 65E! I put down well over 550HP to the wheels and have had my stock tranny in the truck for 39K now (with a 3000 stall and bumped line pressure). I ordered a FLT Level 5 which is just about identical to your built tranny. Based on that you stated that you do not beat on the truck, I think there was some internal malfunction, install glitch or high heat issue. Was the converter fully seated when it was installed? If not, you may have killed the pump.
  23. Enjoy! Get some tr-6 plugs in there, tune and don't forget to check the intercooler lines after a few miles. The install took a little longer than expected. Pizza break, B.S. breaks and such just added to the install time. Wasn't too bad though, end result is what mattered. Now, Jen needs some props here as well. She deserves credit for puting up with a long day. Take that girl out to dinner!!!
