  1. I wish I could go on vacation, but my seizures arent under control, all of this/childhood, and then this in the last 3 years and the last week wouldnt work. I have to see neurologist quite often with medications. The treatments my Psycholgist mentioned all have long wait times unless I tell them Im a threat to myself or someone else. I even went to the ER with no help other than a long wait time. Unfortunately I live about 40 miles from my Drs. With medical bills over 100,000K I coudnt event think of a tanking a vaction. Thanks for the thoughts guys, Ill figure something out. I have a great brother in law who is trying to find places near me to help me vent.
  2. Not only if you go with a stall now and add add things to the truck you will be wasting money my having by another one. Do It Once Do It Right
  3. A stock converter is puppy compared to 3000 full blooded huge dog. Trans upgrades I myself would do is get a larger trans cooler, valve body, servo, and shift points. But the power you make might not be the right stall for you. Your basically stock, no need for a converter yet.
  4. Just a FYI... I always use a High Mileage synthetic with anything gover 75K.
  5. Hope you got a warranty. My buddies dad has one and has nothing but issues with it.
  6. Heres a few. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2006-Chevrolet-SS-Silverado-Grille-Red-/111563528925?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2005%7CModel%3ASilverado+1500%7CSubmodel%3ASS&hash=item19f9b45add&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2005-CHEVY-SILVERADO-SS-SMOOTH-BLK-FINISH-GRILLE-GRILL-NEW-FRONT-BODY-PARTS-/391015546808?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ASilverado+1500%7CSubmodel%3ASS&hash=item5b0a57bfb8&vxp=mtr Otherwise there are tons of aftermarket grill kits.
  7. I had the travel a total of 16 hours to get mine after my first one was wrecked. Everyone I looked at within a 3 hours distance was garbage. But I am as picky as they get. Got my 2003 with 21,000 for $18K
  8. Are yours totally broken? I have had to re bend the sharp tabs on mine to get them firm again. Have been fine for years.
  9. GM or the help section at any local auto parts store.
  10. The plugs say NGK R on them, not AC Delco.
  11. NGK TR 55 here since the truck was brand new and not a single issue.. Hence this is all preference you will get nothing but opinions.
  12. Still would like to know what model it is as there are several different versions. They arent painted from factory.
  13. I would have atleast done a fuel pressure check. Or turned the key on and waited for the GM pump humm. Dropping the tank is easy to do and unless you have a warranty.
  14. Those bare definitely $405, new. Look up the name. Summit has them but for $430

    Hood

You can even see in some of the pics the hoods dont line up right. There are gaps near the fenders.
  16. The Procharger has 7K on it? How often was the oil changed? Do you still have the tag that is riveted on the housing? Any pics of the impeller? Why is it painted black?
  17. Even thought im not looking for chrome wheels as I already have a set of OEM ones. Just to help out and lend a idea. Greyhound bus company will ship wheels for practically nothing. Fully insured, to the next Greyhound station in whatever city the buyer lives in. All they have to do is sign for them and pick them up. Obviously packing material from say UPS with some bubble wrap and youd be good. I shipped out 3 hoods, and a set of $5000 Fikse wheels this way without a scratch. Just an idea.
  18. Do you just need the guts? Or did the whole thing shatter?

    Hood

Looks like a normal GM hood. I dont think any aftermarket company makes them. Or I havent seen one yet.
  20. Illinois is Illinois with the laws. I was just stating a fact whether people abide by the law or they dont. But Any exhaust shop that I have been to would not remove cats for the huge fine and going against the law. That doesnt mean you cant do it yourself, or go to a buddies shop and do it. I myself dont have a welder so the shops near me were my first option.
