  1. You all have some good looking pets. I'll share a pic of my family's 10 month old rat terrier, Twinky. Funny dog, he is super hyper and horny as hell! LOL!!
  2. 's . Listen to these guys, the OEM gasket will be the best one you can use.
  3. Don't use drop leafs and you'll be fine. Hanger/shackle combo will work, and you could also invest in some helper bags.
  4. Would you separate and do wheels only? If so for how much?
  5. I was with my buddy at the track a couple of weeks ago, he drives a 454SS truck, and he raced what we thought was another 454SS. He beat that other truck by several lengths, and we come to find out it is one of these Sport models with a 350. WE were like WTF??? They are not too quick though... Still looks nice BTW.
  6. Damn, in that case I say make it a last resort to use the pickle fork. Did you tear up your grease boots?
  7. I say stay away from the pickle fork if you don't want to tear up your ball joint grease boot. Loosen the upper bolt and hit the top with a 10 lb sledge to break it loose. Loosen the lower bolt and put a jack under the bottom bolt and give it a slight bit of pressure. Now go crazy with the hammer and it will come out eventually.
  8. Cowl with antenna hole...do you mean the little side piece only?
  9. Good deal man, I'm waiting on a set of Doetsch Techs for the rear of my truck.
  10. Cool, I told them to only worry about the threaded hole up top, but after looking through some other posts, I noticed the some didn't spray paint the holes, so I got kinda worried considering that powdercaoting is a bit thicker than a coat of spray. Thanks for the responses.
  11. +1. Bought some headers from him a while back, he is a great guy to deal with.
  12. The black ones you see are most likely stock gold ones that have been painted. The ones with the SS on it are the Shopman Bowties.
  13. Hey guys, I just got some Mcgaughy's drop spindles for my truck, and I just took them to get powdercoated. Won't get them back for a week, so I can still call them if I need to give them any special intructions or anything. Anyways, are the tolerances pretty tight on these? Should I have them coat everything but the holes, or will it be OK to just coat the whole thing but the threaded hole? What about the (shiny) part of the face, the triangular part with the three holes, should this part be covered or can it be coated? This is kinda hard to describe, so if I'm not being clear let me know. TIA.
  14. From what I know, you would have to plate the djm lca's to work with the bags. I would go with the spindles. Not trying to be an ass like you said above, but why don't you run the drop spindles and run a bit more air pressure to the rear. Sick truck btw.
  15. Your truck is too heavy to considerably improve mpg with a v6. I got a buddy with a v6 in his 04 RCSB who gets the same mileage I get in my 5.3 with boltons and no tune. What I'm saying is that with a v6 you will not get enough improvement to justify the cost, you're better off taking that money and putting it towards a smaller dd that will for sure get you better gas mileage.
  16. I'm with Chase. and you said so yourself, if you're gonna narrow the axle, make it worthwhile and get a deep lip, so 5.5 inch lip for sure. That ought to be freakin sweet man.
  17. i'm 20, an my main occupation is a Mechanical Engineer student. I work part-time at a Cargill meat-plant where I will be an engineer intern this summer.
  18. Sick dude. That mofo sounds mean.
