Gmpp Cai Replacement Filter.....................
evallejo replied to GetWithIt's topic in Bolt On Performance
I thought the dry filters were cleanable. The AEM Intake I have came with cleaning instructions, plus I know they make a Dryflow cleaning solution. -
Can you send me a price on the cap to 79072?

How is your system set up? If you have are running a separate amp for your subs, I don't think that should happen. If you are running a Line Output Converter, make sure it's hooked up behind the head unit, not behind the amp, assuming you still have the Bose system.

Haha. It sucks when you learn some of this stuff the hard way. LOL

Yeah that's pretty f*cked up, even though it looks kinda fake.

I read an article(or some other post?) where a guy did something similar. He cut the hole in the bottom of the stock box bigger, smoothed the fins on the inside of the box, and dropped in a K&N filter. According to the reading, it did help, but the change was no where near as drastic as an aftermarket intake system. I would just save up and buy a kit IMO.

First name is Eduardo, and at work, when I used to load trailers, the forklift drivers/loaders would communicate by radio with the computer operators upstairs. One of the computer operators thought it was too long and he started calling me E-man, and since everybody could hear what went on over the radio, the name just kinda stuck, even though some people confused it with He-Man b/c I have long hair.

Looks fun!
